The Basic Beginner Class and Kits (see examples below) include all materials, tools, and supplies necessary to complete your selected project.  Size varies, but each project takes approximately 4 hours to complete.  There are choices in design and style, and you are free to make your own selection.  Each kit is complete with pre-cut glass and/or bevels to assemble, foil, solder, clean, and finish for your very own work of art!

                Cost: $ 50.00 per participant 

WHO?            Your friends, your club members, your neighbors.  It’s your party!  Invite whomever you choose!

WHAT?            Make And Take is just what the name implies.  You create your very own, hand-made, stained glass panel from a kit we provide.  Hands-on demonstration is provided but basically you (and your guests) begin the class empty handed and in just a few hours each guest finishes a lovely, hand made, stained glass panel.

 WHEN?            You book your class when YOU want to have a party or when your club needs a special activity or when you have a special occasion.  It’s YOUR party!  Allow enough time to finish your project (depending upon the number of guests allow approximately 4 hours plus time for refreshments/other activities). 

WHERE?            Where ever you choose!  Your kitchen table, your clubhouse, your office lunchroom!  It’s your party!  We come to you, we bring the kits and supplies that you need, and we show you how to create your panel.  You invite the guests, so you’re the host!  Provide refreshments (or not – it’s your party!) and space to work.  There really isn’t even much clean up to do – each guest Takes home (which really is the whole point, right?).

WHY?                Because it’s FUN!  Because every time you see a gorgeous stained glass panel you don’t you WISH you had one? Haven’t you wondered what it would be like to create your own?  Well, now you can!!!

STAINED GLASS DO-IT-YOURSELF KIT

Your kit includes all of the tools, materials, and supplies required to complete your project from start to finish.  The kit is designed for beginners who have absolutely no experience whatsoever.  Detailed instructions are included, and help is an e-mail away.

 

If you have ever wanted to dabble in stained glass but were put off by the initial start up expense, this kit is for you.  There are no additional expenditures required unless you choose to add a chain to hang your completed piece.

 

You will need water for cleanup, electricity to plug in the included soldering iron, about 3 feet of newspaper-covered space to work, and time (around four hours).

 

The kit includes:

·       Detailed step-by-step instructions

·       Precut glass and soldering iron

·       Foil, chemical solutions, solder

·       Came (the edging) and hanger rings

·       Cleaning and finishing supplies
