would prefer a different size or shape or color, please contact us.
Commissions are delightfully accepted!  The method of fabrication I utilize is copper foil and solder. I believe this is
a more subtle and delicate technique than using lead came, less likely to stretch and sag, less toxic, and more environmentally
friendly. Finished panels are securely soldered into zinc frames. Often the solder is stained / blackened to give
the piece a more vintage or traditional feel.
My primary spource of glass is Wissmach Glass (hand rolled in West
Virginia) or Spectrum (Washington state). I believe these provide a wide range and diversity of colors, styles, textures,
and with my wholesale supplier very near I am able to select individual sheets personally.
Traditional stained
glass panels are expensive and time consuming to craft, but often a pre-made piece simply is not suitable. In that event,
I am delighted to custom craft a piece to your specifications by commission. Though I am prepared to undertake most
commissions I do prefer to retain my own style.
Pricing is by square foot varying by complexity but generally
within a range of $65 to $75 per square foot. This includes design, materials, and execution. Once the general
design is approved I request approximately one-third of the total price as a deposit.
